The Indian contingent ongoing to showcase their opportunity at the 21st Asian U20 Athletics Championships that concluded Saturday in Dubai by successful 29 medals, which include seven gold, which was much better than the 19 medals (six gold, 7 silver, six bronze) received at the past edition held in Yecheon, South Korea in 2023.
At the 2024 version of Asian U20 satisfy in Dubai, the Indian staff also received 11 silver and equivalent number of bronze medals to complete next in medal standing driving China.
This is for the 1st time since 1996 Indian contingent took the 2nd place in medal standing at the Asian U20 Athletics Championships.
